We are looking for a tenancy of three to five years, which makes the house a natural fit for anyone posted to Berlin for a multi-year assignment.

Two bathrooms – one on the ground floor, one upstairs – keep the daily routine comfortable for a family. For working from home there is a dedicated room on the lower ground floor, set apart from the living areas and quiet enough for confidential calls and video conferences without disturbing the rest of the household. The house is let unfurnished, so you can bring your own household effects and settle in for the years ahead exactly as you wish. The high-quality fitted kitchen with all appliances remains in the house, as do the washing machine and dryer; internet and television connections are installed.

Rent and contract

The net cold rent is 3,300 € per month, plus service charges and an advance payment for heating and hot water, which is settled once a year against actual consumption. The deposit is three months' net cold rent. Before signing you will receive the statement required under section 556g (1a) of the German Civil Code setting out how the rent is composed.

We are looking for a long-term tenancy. A mutual commitment can be secured contractually, and we are happy to agree the details with you or with your sending authority. A lease signed by an embassy, a mission or an institutional tenant is entirely possible and welcome.

Location

Heiligensee lies in the north of Berlin, in the borough of Reinickendorf, between the Tegeler Forst and Lake Tegel. It is an established, quiet neighbourhood of detached family houses – and still connected to the city centre without a change of train.
